Overview

YA BAYTÉ by Hébé, nestled in the heart of Paris’s 5th arrondissement at 1 Rue des Grands Degrés, offers an authentic taste of Lebanese cuisine that stands out in the city’s vibrant culinary scene. This cozy spot specializes in traditional dishes such as flavorful falafel, tender lamb kafta, and an array of fresh mezze like hommos and tabboulé, all crafted with evident care and quality ingredients.

The menu highlights showcase the richness of Lebanese flavors, with lamb skewers and beef shawarma making for hearty main courses, while refreshing lemonades and classic sides like tapioca round out the experience. Signature dishes like the creamy Labaneh sandwich and perfectly grilled chicken with garlic sauce invite diners to enjoy familiar favorites elevated by fresh herbs and balanced seasoning.

Although the space is intimate and seating is limited, the restaurant compensates with a streamlined ordering system that, while less personal at times, ensures efficiency during busy hours. This contemporary approach suits a diverse crowd—from Parisian food lovers discovering Lebanese bites for the first time to devoted fans craving authentic street food in a quick, accessible setting.

Feedback from patrons highlights consistently fresh and flavorful meals that capture the essence of Lebanon’s spice and zest. The mezze for two dishes and unique offerings like the Fatayer Bandoura demonstrate a menu mindful of sharing and communal dining, a hallmark of Lebanese culture.

Service tends to be brisk, with a professional team who often engage warmly despite the fast pace. This blend of tradition and modernity, combined with fair portion sizes and thoughtful preparations, makes YA BAYTÉ by Hébé a promising destination for anyone seeking genuine Middle Eastern flavors in Paris.

Just had the most amazing Lebanese takeaway! The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. The sandwiches were a highlight - super tasty and perfectly wrapped. Big shoutout to the Labaneh sandwich - creamy and so satisfying! Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t already. Will definitely order again!

Food was super delicious and tasty! I loved the grilled chicken, the garlic sauce on that chicken, the tabbuleh was good and fresh and mmh perfect fresh parsley. I also really liked the potatoes w garlic and the hummus is good! Lemonade was a bit too sweet for me, but my friend loved it. Proces are so fair for the food, quality and portion size in my opinion! Am definitely coming back. The place is small and not a lot of seating inside, besides u have to order from a tablet screen even when there is no other customers, making a bit unpersonal, but i guess when its busy it frees the staff to cook, thats just my only critique

This is the second time we have come here, and we tried the Chiche Taouk, Falafel, eggplant and cauliflower sandwich and hummus with meat. Everything is delicious and fresh. The team is professional and we even met the nice owner who offered Fatayer Bandoura! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
